Those who dine in the restaurant at Whitefield Golf Club often comment that the food is just like good home cooking
– and it’s hardly any wonder!

For in Spring 2006 the club took control of its own catering services which had previously been run by a franchise operation.

At the same time, a qualified House Manager was appointed with responsibility for developing the restaurant, including additional evening openings, introduction of an up-market a-la-carte menu and more social events for members’ families and friends.

Now offering a wider choice, the lunch menu is both traditional and innovative in style, ranging from tasty snacks to big-hearted main meals. There’s always a home made soup and special dish of the day as well as several healthy eating and vegetarian options.

The very popular Club Nights are currently Tuesdays and Thursdays during the spring and summer when dinners are available for hungry golfers retuning from their evening round.

Pre-booked visiting societies are also well catered for, with set golfing packages available comprising a morning nine holes, and if required, soup and sandwiches at lunchtime, and a choice of evening meal menus..

If none of these are suitable we would be happy to discuss individual requirements and design your own package. We can even provide breakfast for the early birds!

Needless to say, we have a fully stocked bar serving all the popular brands of drinks.

The restaurant and lounge area can accommodate up to 100 people, ideal as a venue for private functions such as special birthdays and engagements when special menus can be created to individual requirements by our highly experienced Head Chef.

A range of high quality catering options will also be available to companies and other organisations booking the syndicate and card rooms for private events in the new clubhouse
